Daria Day jewelry is handcrafted  with precious materials and metals fulfilling the most stringent selection criteria. As a result, special care is required. To preserve the beauty of your jewelry and your gemstone over time, we recommend the following precautions:

Storing your jewelry

When you are not wearing your Daria Day jewelry, store it  in pouch provided with your purchase. This will prevent tarnishing and scratching.

While wearing your jewelry

Exposure to water, lotions, body oils, cosmetics, perfumes, excessive heat and humidity and cleaning agents may cause discoloration and affect the finish of the jewelry. We recommend waiting until your perfume and cosmetics are completely dry before wearing your jewelry and taking off your jewelry first when undressing.

Caring for your Sterling Silver jewelry

Sterling Silver is a precious metal and may require cleaning from time to time. Keep your sterling silver jewelry away from water as Sterling Silver will oxidize. Also, the oils in your skin help keep the Silver from oxidizing faster, so wear your jewelry often! When you do need to clean your Sterling Silver jewelry,  we suggest using either a silver jewelry cleaner or polishing paper. Caring for your gems

Dust, pollution and daily wear all conspire to cloud the brilliance of a gemstone. We recommend polishing your gems regularly with a soft dry cloth to maintain  its original lustrous shine.

Materials and Metal

We use only natural stones which are a product of nature. As a result, all of our gemstones come in variations of color, pattern, and texture. We consider that these variations are what make your piece of jewelry that little bit extra special and unique.

 We use only Sterling Silver .925, and at times we use matte and slightly oxidized silver in order to make any designs pop. Ear wires are hypoallergenic and nickel free.
